Tiny bit out of town, but easily accessible by tram. So prepare for 20min journey. Once you know where it is all becomes obvious.
Always their newest releases on tap with very reasonable prices. Staff always nice. Must visit place in town.

According to googlemaps place should be open. But doors are closed and locked. It's around 18:00 so peak time for quaffing anyway. Dunno.

No idea how this place wasn't on my map. But it was just next to my Ibis, so I stepped in. They serve flights. But it was close to closing time and they showed out that with every cell that customers must leave. Despite that place was 3/4 full. Guess they don't like money.

I arrived less than an hour before closing time. Asked nicely do they still serve and answer was yes. Barmaid kept cleaning up the bar whilst I kept drinking. Local group had some sort of darts tournament going on. Got invited to participate, but I was too trampolined so had to decline the offer. Level was too high for me as well.

Nice little pub with large beergarden. Old looking, but not worn out. Friendly staff. Worth to pop in.

Brewdog with different kind of setup. This is still Brewdog, but bit different. All good 'til almost to end. When I came back from toilet my table was cleaned up and my not quite finished flight was also gone. Happens. Good for my liver? Do I get my money back?

I have mixed feelings about this. Same pattern seems to repeat itself in Zerodegrees. Same as in Cardiff nobody behind the counter to serve you. I see people at tables, eating, drinking, but no staff. After 7-10 minutes waiting staff appears. He is smiling and apologizing, my 1/3 of pint is free, on the house. Ohh thank God I didn't have to pay for it 'cause this lager is pure vinegar. So off that even off is more on than that. I take my 2 sips and leave. Nope.

Closest pub to Reading train station mainly because it's almost in the train station. Interior is nice, but selection is rather boring.

Classic JDW, but with a dirty twist. I understand that at times it might be busy, but by the looks of it this table hasn't been cleaned for centuries. Sausages and other bits of food on floor? No thanks.

Old geezers pub. Bit worn out, but thankfully mostly full of locals rather than tourists. You can feel the age of the pub. Nice rock playing on speakers, not too loud just enough. Would come back.
