Small crafty place in the Old Town area. We were quite blasted when we arrived, 1y birthday party or something like that. Taps, fridges, local friends giving samples, beer everywhere! All I remember is that it was nice.

Last time it was closed. Now full open. My review is biased 'cause hardcore fan of LOTR (read books multiple times, seen movies hundred times (plus minus 5) etc). So not disappointed. Of interior. And theme. Beerwise I've been in taverns with less choice and this is close to those. Glory days have passed in 4th age.

Once again a rerate. Last time they served us absolutely gone sour beer, FatPhil went berserk and Anna haggled 50% of money back. None of this happened this time. Ticks were freshish, but not off. Service polite, not scammy. Still tourist trap sort of.

Unlike last time (I think my rating wasn't transferred from RB) we made it inside. Last time it was horrible tourist trap with nothing to offer besides high prices. Actually nice and fast service inside. We found ticks. English and card = yes.

This place is halfway up to the hill. We decided to make a hydration break here (way ahead of you FIFA). Full of tourists enjoying view on balcony. We joined them. It was hot day. We managed to find couple ticks. Not a beer place. More of a cocktail lounge which happens to have beer.

Stylish Belgian place. It was quite late in the evening and this place was just on the way to home. I wasn't the freshest pickle in the jar. But I remember being here.

I've been in hundreds of Irish pubs in my life, but this one is different. It's from the days of yore. I've been in similar places in Ireland, very local places in suburbs and countryside. This one is in bit of Balkan sauce. I love it.
Place is full as expected on Friday night. Hard to find anything local, but we manage.
Staff is friendly and fast.

On Friday even proper Balkan party going on. Balkan estrade singers with proper '80s '90s 1 fono plays all them tunes, but lyrics are different type of songs. We as obviously not locals, are lead out to the terrace with a "view". View is to empty/abandoned car lot/dump site. Hard to tell which one exactly.
No flights so we had to order all beers in man portion. Shame 'cause half of them weren't that fresh.
Service was quick and price wasn't too bad.

Absolutely packed on Friday evening, but we manage to find a table. Selection of beers on tap and same in fridge. Despite of being full service is quick. Staff has even time to drop some jokes when we ask for various things. Lovely attitude.
Smoking outside, but not inside. If you ask nicely they sell for take-away. Will come back.
