Cask at Kings Head, Bristol. Pours chestnut deep brown with beige foam. Toasty malts, nuts, some hedgerow. Medium body with soft carbonation. Solid.

750 ml bottle. Floral, sweet fleshy apple, minor funk. Very straightforward, not much complexity. Almost isotonic at 2.0% ABV

Bottle online from the brewery. Light rich, roasty toasty malts, liquorice, hedgerow hops. Body a little thin. Enjoyed, even if it doesn't feel quite up there with Kernel's best dark output
