Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, chocolately and mildly roasty, dark malty, slightly spicy and alcoholic, notes of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, some treacle, toffee, caramel, coffee and vanilla; lingering vanilla finish with a minimally warming, alcoholic touch.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Well balanced, very harmonious and homogeneous, relatively well hidden alcohol for the high abv - very enjoyable.

BA supported, dark and caramel malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, caramel, rum, whisky. Taste is dark and caramel malty, tart-ish, tannic oaky and slightly yeasty fruity, hints of malt lozenge, caramel, white wine, sour-ish green wood; minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
