12 oz can dated 11/11/25. Pours a light yellow, fairly hazy, with a white head. Citrusy (grapefruit, orange) and herbal/floral hop aroma. Flavor has herbal, grassy, citrus hops. No real bitterness, but I don't think I'd really call it "juicy." It's just okay.

12 oz can. Pours a hazy coppery amber with a fizzy, diminishing off-white head. Dark fruit aroma (raisin, plum, red grape), toffee, red apple, with a bit of yeastiness. Rather light palate for a double. Flavors of red grape, raisin, red apple, pear coming in with the yeastiness, brown sugar. Honestly it's a pretty good light & clean dubbel.

500 mL bottle, labeled as 2023 vintage. Pours black with a brown head. Sweet cocoa syrup, soy, vanilla, and molasses in the aroma. Flavor is very syrupy cocoa, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, soy, molasses, caramel. Lots of sweet, syrupy flavors going on. Very good!

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a white head. Toasty caramel-honey aroma. Nice sweet toasty malt flavor, caramel/honey biscuit with bitter hops, citrus. Just a good barley wine.

On tap at HopCat Livonia. A black pour with a very light tan or off-white head. Heavy hazelnut in the aroma with vanilla, cocoa, and coffee. Flavor has hazelnut and coffee leading the way, syrupy cocoa, vanilla. Well balanced despite the strong flavors. Very nice.

On tap at HopCat Livonia. Pours a clear coppery amber with a white head. Toffee/molasses in the aroma. Flavor is toasty molasses and toffee, ginger, and nutmeg. Pleasant, with the spices on the lighter side but still very distinct.

16 oz can from Plum Market West Ann Arbor dated 05-Dec-2025. Lighter amber pour, clear with a white head. Toasty caramelly malts and piney hops in the aroma. Flavor has the toasty hops with caramel and butterscotch, plus some piney, floral, herbal hops. Okay, but not their best work.

16 oz can. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Yeasty, pearlike aroma. Flavor is also yeast-dominant, clove and pear, some green apple and white grape mixing with the pear, especially toward the finish. Pretty good, not overly sweet. Nice.
