12 oz bottle from the brewery. Pours black with a thin dark brown head. Sweet cherry chocolate aroma, creamy, coffee. Definitely has an alcoholic bourbon edge to it, and it reminds me a lot of a chocolate cherry liqueur truffle. Flavor hits immediately with intense cocoa powder, bourbon, cinnamon, raisin and molasses, soy, coffee. Sweet, syrupy, delicious.

12 oz can. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a white head. Very yeasty aroma, pear, bubble gum, spices. Smooth flavors, on the lighter side of medium, yeasty overall, pale malt, pear, apple. Mild sweetness with a touch of honey. Very nice.

12 oz bottle from the Warren brewery. Pours a deep, deep brown to black with a light tan head. Aroma is giving some dark fruit, whiskey, and oxidation. Brown sugar, whiskey, dark fruit flavors, boozy and syrupy, a touch of oxidation again. Heavy and tasty.

On tap at SuperNatural A darker amber pour, clear, served with no real head. Coffee cocoa aroma. Flavor has coffee, cocoa, roasty, very tasty. Not usually a style that I find works out too well, but this is maybe the best "white stout" I've had, and it's excellent.

Can from the brewery. Golden yellow pour with some haze and a white head. Pine, spicy hop aromas, hinting at fruit. Flavor is strong on the pine hops as well, sweet and slightly toasty honey malt beneath. Strong, fairly sweet, and pretty tasty.
