Schooner on tap at Glen Innes Services Club. Light amber beer with medium white head of foam. High fine carbonation. Fruity nose. Light, zingy, refreshing. Finish is fruit sherbet. Very nice mid-strength.

375ml can into pint glass. Bought at brewery. Pours a beautiful mahogany red with large head of solid lasting foam. High fine carbonation. Sweet nutty aroma, some caramel and banana too. Slight zing, more caramel and banana. Quite flat dry finish. Some nice balancing bitterness at the end. Very nice beer.

330 ml can into glass. As 'Four Frogs Creperie Lager'. Same brewery, same style, same ABV. I'm assuming same beer. Amber beer with slight haze, thousands of tiny bubbles, frothy white head. Pils nose of grain and caramel. Smooth mouthfeel, standard dry Pils taste and finish, not as harsh as some. Pretty good quaffer, goes well with crepes I bet!

A hazy translucent amber beer with a thin white head. Light pineapple nose, patchy lacing. Zingy on the tongue with sweet fruit, like a fruit tingle. Refreshing with a balancing bitterness in the finish. Very nice but another disparate piece in the 'What is an XPA?' jigsaw puzzle.

At the brewery. Part of (my wife's) tasting paddle. pours a dark brown with a thin head of crema. Nose is dark cocoa and subtle caramel, nice lacing. Very easy to drink, minimal carbonation. Touches of bitter chocolate in the finish. A nice drinkable example of a dark ale style that is peculiar to NSW.
