16.9 oz. can from the Costco 2025 German Biergarten Collection. Pours a clear gold color with a large white head and great retention. Good, scattered lacing. Standard pale malt aroma. Straightforward pale lager flavor. Slightly sweet. Tastes more like a heavier Helles lager versus a Festbier, IMHO. It's good either way. Nothing special, yet very repeatable. Medium body and medium carbonation. Very low bitterness. Prost!

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a hazy gold color with a bright white head and decent retention. Only a few spots of lacing. Chocolate and cream aroma. The taste follows the nose: Milk chocolate, vanilla, and cream ale flavors blended together, with a little more vanilla flavor than chocolate. Kind of reminds me of a golden stout. Interesting mix. I like the unique profile, yet I wouldn't want a lot of these. Medium body and medium carbonation. Very low bitterness. Well done.

16.9 oz. can from the Costco 2025 German Biergarten Collection. Pours a clear gold color with a white head and good retention. Almost no lacing. Smells like a standard lager to me, maybe with a hint of bread. The taste follows the nose: Standard lager flavor, clean and smooth. Sweet, with a little honey in the finish. Medium-light body. Lower than expected carbonation. Not bitter. Enjoyable yet nothing special.

Maybe some pale malt? Very light pale malt flavor too, with a slightly boozy finish. Tastes like a smoother than average malt liquor. No bad notes; just kinda bland. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Okay.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a cloudy gold color with an off-white head and decent retention. Almost no lacing. Guava and pineapple aroma. The flavor is mostly guava, and a little tart. Sufficient wheat base beer. Medium body with a pulpy texture. Low carbonation. Not bitter. Okay overall, but I wish it was sweeter versus tart.

16.9 oz. can from the Costco 2025 German Biergarten Collection. Pours a cloudy gold color with a tight white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Yeast-dominant aroma, as expected. Yeast-dominant flavor follows the nose, but the yeast flavor is subdued compared to a typical Belgian yeast beer. Smooth and clean. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Not my preferred style, yet above average for the style. Decent.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Happy New Beer! Pours a crystal clear dark bronze color with a khaki head and decent retention. Very little lacing. Caramel malt and toffee aroma. The taste follows the nose, with more toffee flavor than caramel. Nicely sweet. Smooth and clean. Medium-light body and medium-light carbonation. Not bitter. Tasty beer to start the new year!
