It’s funny to me that Australia also has a brouhaha (there’s a different one in my hometown)

Brouhaha Strawberry Rhubarba Sour 4.2%

Salmon pinkish orange with off-white foam that leaves some lacing behind. It’s got a nice acidic tangy aroma while the medium bodied slick brew delivers rhubarb as well as subtle strawberry notes.

A winner.

Picked this up about a year ago in Montreal. 473ml for 12-1500¥.

Le Castor Tawny Porter 9.3%
Porter aged on plums and sour cherries in Portuguese tawny port barrels with Brett

Ruddy brown color with wisps of beige foam. Nice sour cherry aroma, the medium body is smooth. The taste has good barrel character. Well balanced acidic sour.

Hinterland 29th Anniversary Pub Draught Nitro Pale Ale 5.6%

Reddish orange with beige foam and a smooth medium to full body. The taste is a throwback to an old school pale ale with pine and orange but elevated by the nitro.

DD4D Stone Hammer
Double IPA 8% 40 IBU

Great matte gold with nice thick white foam and a modern fruity hoppiness with a balancing bitterness. Really nice.

DD4D Dance Commander
Hazy Triple IPA 9% IBU 25

Nice hazy gold color with minimal white foam. The aroma is juicy, medium bodied and fairly smooth. The taste is juicy with some sharp citrus at the end.

Solid start to my visit to the fest.
