Grabbed this one in 2019 in Baggot Street Wines in Dublin and have cellared it till this Christmas. Pours a deep brown red with a very small tan head. Nose is Christmas cake, booze, molasses, red fruit. Flavour is mostly the same with a small amount of brown bread smoothness.

On draft, no head at all. Sickly sweet molasses, brown sugar, minimal hop bitterness, unbalanced, missing the malt smoothness in favour of thin sugar sweetness

Thick and oily black pour from the can. Almost no head, aroma is vanilla pod, iced sugar pastry, fresh brewed coffee, and some chocolate notes. Flavour favours the coffee in front and the vanilla sweetness comes after. Very tasty dessert beer.

500ml bottle, clear pale gold colour with a large pillowy head. Nose of hay, fresh cut grass, some slight lemon rind. Flavour is hay, bread malts, lemon hops. Thick and creamy mouthfeel, slightly astringent.

Beautiful yellow gold colour with a large rocky white head. Aroma of biscuit and bread malts. Flavour is mostly the same with a little hops in the background. Crisp, clean, refreshing beer

Poured into a shaker glass from a can. Lovely clear golden colour, effervescent pour, large rocky head. Nose is sweet bread malt with noble hop aroma. Flavour is mostly the same, very refreshing beer

On draft at Seafood Sam’s in Sandwich. Crystal clear gold with a small white head. Nose is breadth malt and some lemon zest. Flavour is a bit fuller than the aroma, clean malt and some citrus. Easy drinking lager
