From a 440ml can on 31/5/2026. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a small to medium head. Has a big mango nose, with stone fruit presenting as well. On the sip, there's masses of mango, along with some passionfruit and peach, with the sweetness met with a good dash of tempering lemon and lime in a satisfying savoury finish. Silky mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. A tad unusual and really nicely balanced. Excellent.

From a 440ml can on 30/5/2026. Pours a clear deep amber with a medium head. Has a lightly fruity nose with some malty notes. Tastes of citrus fruit, with some dried fruit, caramel and toast in a decent malt backbone. Finishes with a firmish pine resin bitterness. Chewy plate with moderate carbonation. Pretty intense but enjoyable.

From a 440ml can on 29/5/2026. Pours a cloudy dirty golden with a medium to biggish head. The nose features punchy citrus with some stone fruit in the background. Sweetish up front with a combo of mandarin, mango, peach and white grape, leading into a super tangy lemony finish, with mild to moderate bitterness. Has a lovely silky palate with average to lively carbonation. Bold, intense, lovely.

From a 750ml bottle on 27/5/2026 (shared by Des on Origin night with thanks, 10.8 standard drinks in the bottle!). Pours a dirty, opaque brown orange with barely any head. The nose is fruity and malty with more than a whiff of the whisky booziness. The sip presents a combo orange, caramel and dates, leading into a moderate bitter finish with some zesty citrus with some big whisky notes in the background. Definitely has a bit of barley wine character to it. While you won't mistake it for a light, the 18.3% is reasonably well hidden, albeit that it saw me through my half bottle share last me an entire game of footy. Full bodied with a slick palate and moderate carbonation. Beers this big can be hard work but this one actually works rather well. Not sure if I'd seek it out for a second go, but definitely glad to have tried it.

From a 440ml can on 26/5/2026. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a smallish head. Has lots of freshly squeezed fruit on the nose, with lots of citrus and stone fruit prominent. Taste wise you get lots of nectarine, with some mandarin, peach, mango and lemon finishing with a somewhat green, herbal bitterness with a dash of the promised pine. Full bodied with average carbonation. Very different to the usual cloudy types these guys excel at, but just as impressive.
