Refugee from the RateBeer shutdown (profile name Maris). If my ratings seem consistently high, it's primarily because I've got to the point where I mainly drink the styles I like best, from the breweries who I know produce consistently good gear.

From a 440ml can on 6/5/2026. Pours milky golden with a smallish head. The aroma features lots of sharp zesty citrus with some tropical undertones. The taste features lots of lemon and lime up front, with some sweet peach, melon and white grape. Finishes with a moderate savoury citric bitterness. Pillowy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Very pleasant.

From a 375ml can on 5/5/2026. Pours a lightly hazy deep golden with a small head. Has a strong fruity nose with tropical and stone fruit notes. The taste follows suit, with dollops of peach, pineapple, apricot and coconut. Sweetish up front with a decent sharpish bitter finish. Fullish body with moderate to average carbonation. A very nicely put together hazy.

Pours a slightly hazy golden with a medium head. The nose is lightly fruit with a touch of citrus zest. Very citrus dominated on the sip, with orange, lemon and lime all prominent leading into a savoury, firmish lingering bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. More than decent.

From a 375ml can on 30/4/2026. Pours a clearish deep golden with the barest of heads. Has a very light fruity nose. The taste is pretty line and length for a pale ale - some orange and grassy notes, leading into a modest bitterness. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Okay but actually much preferred the High Country Lager.

From a 440ml can on 29/4/2026. Pours a milky golden with a medium head. The aroma is quite tropical and floral. There's fruit everywhere on the sip -apricot, peach and passionfruit with dashes of zesty lemon and lime in the decently bitter finish. Silky mouthfeel mouthfeel with average carbonation. Damn these guys are doing remarkable stuff in terms of their hazies. Absolute NZ hop bliss.
