Refugee from the RateBeer shutdown (profile name Maris). If my ratings seem consistently high, it's primarily because I've got to the point where I mainly drink the styles I like best, from the breweries who I know produce consistently good gear.

From a 440ml can on 23/6/2026. Pours a hazy golden with lots of yeast floaties and a big head. There's a pleasant mix of tropical, citrus and stone fruit on the nose. Sweetish up front with orange, mango and passionfruit, along with some melon and white grape so typical of the hop. Finishes with a moderate, dry, lightly resinous bitterness. Has a silky mouthfeel and average carbonation. Really enjoyable.

From a 440ml can on 21/6/2026. Pours an opaque reddy amber with a medium head. Has a light nose featuring berries and a touch of malt. Tastes of berries with hints of dried and citrus fruit and some toasted malt. Finishes with a tangy, fruity moderate bitterness. Fullish body with moderate carbonation. I''ve not heard of the concept of the hazy red IPA let alone a double one. it doesn't present as big as 9%, going down pretty easily. It's more subtle and straight forward than you might expect, but exhibits a decent amount of charm.

From a 375ml can on 20/6/2026. Pours a murky golden with a small head. The nose features lightly fermented fruit notes. Same on the sip. There's lots of citrus and some stone fruit, but it's not that sweet and has a green, herbal, sour/fermented bitterness at the back. Medium body with moderate carbonation. A bit odd and funky.

From a 440ml can on 19/6/2026. Pours a opaque deep amber with a small and dissipating head. The nose features caramel toffee and dried fruit. Taste wise, it's nicely malty with caramel, toffee and bread, along with dates, prunes, raisins and brown sugar. Has a nice dash of whisky in a moderate, slightly tangy bitterness. Syrupy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Rich, smooth and sumptuous. Really good.

From a 500ml bottle on 18/6/2026. Pours a clearish amber with little in the way of head. The nose features bready malt and a touch of fruit. Quite malty on the sip with light bread, biscuit and caramel, with a lightly tangy citrus fruit finish with a modest bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A serviceable British ale.

From a 440ml can on 16/6/2026. Pours a clear amber with a small head. The nose is lightly fruity with some malt in the background. On the sip, it starts with some biscuit and caramel malt, leading into some sweetish citrus fruit. Finishes firmly bitter with dashes of both pine and resin. Medium body with average carbonation. Goes down nicely.
