Just outside of central Pilsen. Gotta correct the last reviewer - this isn't the only place in town where you can try the unfiltered PU - it's also available at the brewery's restaurant Na Spilce. Anyway, I visited on a Saturday evening, so of course it was packed and all the tables were reserved, but they managed to find a table for me for an hour. The place itself felt a little run-down. Service is fast and efficient, but that seems to be the norm in Czechia - food and drinks arrived within minutes. Had the unpasteurised version of Pilsner Urquell and it was damn good.

500ml on tap at Pivovarská krčma. Pours foggy amber with a tall off-white head. Aroma is caramel, wood, malt. Taste is light to medium sweet. Light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

Very central place in Pilsen. Lots of wood in the interior. I visited on a Saturday evening in September, and it was pretty popular among the locals. Easy to get a beer, but besides that they weren't interested, so I had the polotmavé and moved on.

Quite a stylish steak restaurant near Prague's main train station. Four beers on tap. Friendly and efficient service. Food is good. Usually I wouldn't add places with small beer selections, but this seemed like one of the nearest places to the station to have an okay beer and some food.

500ml can. From the can, so no appearance notes. Aroma is grain, malt, grass. Taste is light to medium sweet. Medium bitter finish. Pretty decent for a macro pils.

500ml can. No visual notes because I was drinking it from the can. Aroma is herbal hop, faint citrus, a little bready. Taste is light sweet. Medium bitter finish. Light bodied. High class.
