Can poured into an English pint. Deep brown with a huge, dark khaki head. Aroma is pecans, paste, old dish rags. Initial taste is pecans. Fades to.... bland nuts. Light body and over carbonated. Disappointint.

Can poured into a tulip glass. Hazy gold with an off white head that lasts a bit. Aroma is tropical citrus, mango, tangerine. Initial taste is mango, tangerine, kiwi. Fades to the same. Body is a touch watery with active carbonation. Nothing spectacular but a solid effort.

Black pour and a small brown head. Aroma is under sweet milk chocolate, brownies, pecan, booze. Initial taste is far less sweet with cocoa nibs, dark chocolate, pecans, booze. Fades to coffee, pecans, roast. Thick, oily body and low carbonation. Very enjoyable!

Bottle poured into a snifter. Pitch black with a fizzy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, port, coffee, vanilla. Initial taste is much the same, with a little alcohol burn. Fades to all of the same. Consistent throughout. Full body with carbonation that bites just a bit. Fantastic stuff.

Can poured into a snifter. Fizzy head (brown?) and a black body. Aroma is bourbon, maple, chocolate, vanilla. Initial taste is everything from the aroma with a little oak. Fades to chocolate, maple, and oak. Bourbon burns at the end. Full body and easy, fizzy carbonation. Really nicely balanced!
