Fun place to go to taste burgers, stews and other dishes made from wild game including moose, elk, venison, and boar. I thoroughly enjoyed the “Tipsy Moose Burger “ with aquavit mayo and was very happy to pair that with a Kinn Farmhouse Ale. A nice selection of Nordic Beer on tap and by the bottle.

Bottle pours slightly cloudy effervescent gold with thin white head. Mild aroma of bread with dense mouthfeel and nice balance between malt and hop flavors. Nice farmhouse ale.

Very nice restaurant serving Norwegian-Turkish-Italian food. I had the mixed grill featuring steak, chicken and kofte, my wife had the fettuccine carbonara - both excellent. Had a nice selection of draft beer.

Draft pours clear gold teaming with effervescence and crowned with white lingering foam. Aroma of bread with a crisp mouthfeel and a malty sweet finish. Decent Pilsner.

A great location near Oslo City Hall with an abundance of indoor and outdoor seating…but what we care about most is the beer selection featuring their own Amundsen offerings plus various choices from other breweries. Satisfying one-stop sipping for eager beer tasters.

They say they specialize in pork dishes - I say they excel! The most popular dish on their menu is pork knuckle and it is the best I have ever tasted: crispy skin outside and juicy succulence inside. Resting on a bed of mashed potatoes covered with horseradish-mustard gravy and surrounded by sauteed cabbage, carrots and string beans sends this meal over the top. Pair that with an abundance of draft beer selections and we may be as close as one can get to hog-heaven.

Draft pours slightly cloudy amber with robust head that reduces to clinging lace. Dense mouthfeel with strong bitter taste that lingers. Very nice IPA.
