Exploring the wine and spirit world asside of this all. Allow me to explain a bit on how I score. These are based on personal enjoyment. Quality & 'in style' are part of that enjoyment, but won't totally make or break a drink, if I myself have a different opinion. Still searching a medium for other spirits, so those aren't online for now. If you know anything, let me know ;) For all mediums, the score is decided like this : 100 : Absolute perfection. Must have sampled it at least twice, and be mindblown twice. 90 - 100 : absolutely amazing. I'd like a drink like this anytime, even if it ain't the cheapest. 80-90 : Very damn good. It'll depend a bit more on the price - but this is probably one to seek out. 70-80 : better than average . Will likely enjoy again if it's priced compeditive. 70 : Average score for anything with alcohol . // 50 : The absolute middlepoint ( pure H2O ) Anything with alcohol beneath 50 is simply not worth drinking (seriously, concider your liver) // 05 : The absolute, final downpoint . Songs shall be written about how this attack to the tastebuds has started a rage within, killing inocent bystanders for no apparent reason - other than the fact my life is ruined by drinking this. On the other hand, it's kinda interesting to try something THIS bad, so you should probably seek it out ! As you can see, I use the FULL scale , and a rating of 70 by myself isn't bad at all !

Pours black. No head. Scent is green, herbal pepperyness. Sweet impression. Taste is full, sweet, spicy herbal pepper notes, but no heath. Chocolate.

Pours black, no head. Scent is maple, roast, sweet impression. Taste is full, sweet, maple forward. Sharp boozy touch (but very mild in intensity). Medium coffee. More maple than the regular 2024 version. Caramel is hidden. What a pleasant surprise !

Full on whisky in the nose, balanced in the mouth. Mild acidity, easy drinkability. feels a bit oily. Nicely balanced geuze, as is to be expected by OBN. Port is not recognizable after the whisky took over the barrel, now generously delivering towards the lambic.

Pours a black with a medium large, fast fading tanned head. Scent is roasty, bit soy, some vanilla. Mild oakyness as well. Taste is full, sharp coffee like roastyness, medium vanilla, loud on the barrel. Bourbon and boozy. Medium thick body, medium high carbo. Very decent, but nothing amazing.

Pours a clear golden. medium sized white, stable head. Scent is malty, white bread, 'thick' aroma, Mild on earthy hops. taste is malty, very fresh, medium bitterness, some earthy hops. Very drinkable. More intense than the classic bitter they make (especially compared to the nitro version). very agreeable and enjoyable.

Pours hazed blonde. Small to small medium white head. Scent is orznge, dank, but also very raw malty, grainy, specifically reminding le of munich malts. Taste is full, quite vitter - obviously nothing extreme, being a pale ale. Rhe malts really do pop, a whole lot more than i anticipated - but i like it quite a bit ! Medium body, medium to medium high carbo. Smooth! Doensnt taste old by any means, but missed that very expressive burst of freshness. It is imported, so i guess it could be that, but it could also be the expressive maltyness surpressing the hoppy notes a bit. Either way, a very pleasant one.

Pours darker blonde. Big white head. Scent is mild, magma typical notes, but more toned down. Taste is full, very creamy, intense malt profile, rarher sweet. Bit less bitter than i repember magma to be, but more creamy. Quite nice !

Pours a clear blonde, medium sized, fairly fast fading white head. Scent is typical, full, brett and funk, loads of wood, citrussy freshness. Taste is intense, very dry , loads of wood and brett, funk def present but more ik the back. Bit astrigent. Very citrussy - outspoken even, though the acidity is far more complex. Perhaps a bit too dry for my personal taste. Fairly high carbonation. Lovely, but i expected nothing less from Boerenerf who's been exclusively doing great stuff lately

pours darker pink / purple. Stable pink head, medium sized, pillowy. Scent shows berries mostly, but quite generic, not as specific I could recognize them blindly. Taste is farily thin, thyme quite expressed, to my surprise, overpowering the fruityness even. Thinner body, medium carbo. Not great, in terms of balance or body or intensity - but also not off.
