Can. Pours a deep brown with a decent head that dies back slowly to maybe a half finger or so. A bit of lacing on the glass, but not to much on that front. Aromas are more coffee based than I expected... I was paying more attention to the Cremè Brûlée on the label and figured this would be cloying on the nose. Instead I'm greeted with a pleasant mix of coffee and sweet notes (smells kind of like a café cubano to me) with a touch of chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is a little less pleasant. It's sharp at times, watery at times, bitter at times, but it doesn't seem to come together cohesively. It's nice but I was hoping for a little better offering from Kunhenn.

Can. Pour is a deep brown (thick looking for a beer with 7% ABV written on the can) and a dense tan head that dies back slowly to leave some lovely lacing on the sides of the glass. Aromas are a punch to the face of coffee grounds, charcoal, and a touch of vanilla and chocolate. Flavor is lovely... chocolate and coffee. Mouthfeel is a bit thin for my likes, but I like a big and bruising imperial stout, so maybe I'm hoping for too much here. It's a good beer... well balanced and executed. I just want to try its big brother version.

Can. Pours a slightly orangish (and clear) gold with a bit of a fizzy head that dies quickly. Aromas are not great... a bit of a tin can cherry smell is about what I get here. Flavor is not going to win any awards from me either (sorry... I wanted to fall in love with this one!) It's kind of a fake cherry flavor with a bit of a metallic edge over a beer that doesn't have a lot of direction. Maybe I got a bad can?

16 oz can. Pours a very fizzy gold (medium gold, nothing special) with a thin head. The amount of carbonation rising is pretty ridiculous. Aromas are kind of odd... not the big, punchy resin I would expect from something that bills itself "West Coast IPA" but more of a pear and peach with a touch of almost Brett-like funk. Flavor is fruity... more of that sweet pear and peach or maybe nectarine, a kind of fruity with an edge that strikes me as more peppery than resinous. It's a pretty interesting one, to say the least. Not what I was expecting but I kind of like it.
