Can. Pours a clean light gold with a thin head. Aromas of apples and sour funk. Flavor is clean but not that interesting. Kind of tastes like a lager with a bit of apple juice added and a little apple cider vinegar. Meh.

Can. Pour is a hazy straw color with a massive foam head. Aromas are lovely for the styleโ€ฆ bananas, cloves, bread. Iโ€™m the been a while since I have had a saison that was solid. Great work, Perennial!

Can. Pour is a very murky orange gold with very little head. Aromas are bold - lots of barnyard funk, a touch of orange, some honey. Amazing nose. Flavor is nice but I think the aroma is the highlight here. The funk mixes nicely with the orange flavors but the beer is a bit thin.

Can shared with the fishing crew after a long wait to have some hugs. Pour is motor oil with thin head. Aromas of charcoal, chocolate, mole, prunes. Flavor is a lovely mix of all that. Warm, burnt, lovely.

Can. Pour is a bit fizzy (not a gusher, but getting there) and a hazy light gold with a lot of foam that laces nicely as it recedes. Aromas are a little pepper/spice, a little floral, a little resin, and a little tropical fruit. Not real strong and a mix of everything. Flavor is light and clean malt with a pepper/resin/fruit hops overlay. Good but I think I want to come back to this one again and get a better can. (This one was good and fresh though, so I am posting the rating.)

Bottle. Pours like used motor oil with almost no head. A thin film of a few little bubbles scattered across the surface is it. Aromas are big chocolate, big banana, big booze (rum barrel? whiskey? too lazy to wander back to find the bottle to verify.) Flavor is less lovely... sort of... it is a huge gorilla of a beer, that's for sure. Boozy, chocolatey, a banana segue before the booze and dark fruit take back over on the tail end. It's interesting and maybe a little too much of a good thing. Then again, you will never have anything else like it so maybe give it a try.

Bottle. Pour is a light copper and supports a finger of so of dense foam that seems to be hanging around for a bit. Aromas areโ€ฆ wellโ€ฆ I get banana bread out of this one. No idea what that is all about. Flavor is a lovely hit of booze right up front, then that transition to sugary malts (caramel, mostly) and then an edgy hops finish. Really nice for the style and just what I like in it. Balance of sweet to hops, a nice boozy kick, yum!

On tap. Pours a clear gold with a thin head. Aromas are bread, white grape juice, and pear. Fairly light and clean. Refreshing in June.
