Visited with Marduk in January 2025. Another beer bar located near Vatican. Few taps, including a cask. A cask not in good condition. Prices are on the higher side as expected by the location. Food is ok. Ok service, ok place.

Visited with Marduk in January 2025. Wooden bar near Vatican. 10 or so taps. Prices are not cheap. Service is ok, but as Marduk said, scamming tourists is shitty. Food was ok. Ok, as long as you carefully look that you get what you're paying for.

Have ordered from them multiple times a couple of years back. It used to be that you couldn't get Monkish for example other way in Europe. They also had some other hard to find stuff. Prices are on the high side, but for rare beers it is acceptable. Website is simple and selection is limited - hence usability is better than many other sites.

I'm surprised this webshop isn't higher rated. This is the best webshop to order lambics. The prices are fair and the selection is good. Sometimes they even offer rarities like h.ertie. It used to be that etre had more expensive bottle prices, but cheaper shipping. Nowadays this is not true, huis has both: cheaper shipping (at least to Estonia) and cheaper prices. The only reason why I don't order more often from huis, is the fact that they sometimes sell things out very fast. So when I want to order from them I don't have enough things to order. Sometimes they will restock, but not always. They don't offer free storage like etre, only the payed one, and I don't think it is worth for the regular bottles. Still, as I said: if you're a fan of lambics, this is a great resource.

When they came to the scene they were by far the cheapest webshop you could order from. I made multiple orders from there. Those days are gone. Nowadays they are just one of the random dutch webshops. I haven't had a reason to order from them for years, because other places have either better prices or more interesting beers. Website itself is also not the best and sometimes quite slow.

I have ordered once some time again. Prices are not the cheapest, but usability is fine and they have some Dutch stuff that you can't find elsewhere.

Very clunky website and not easy to find the stuff, but prices are fair and selection is very interesting. They have stuff that no other website in Europe has. Once I found what I was looking for, everything else went very smoothly.

Multiple orders over years with no problems. Usability is a bit iffy and not the cheapest prices, but excellent selection. That being said, last time when I tried to order it everything seemed to be going smoothly until i reached to the paying screen. Suddenly I was hit with a lot bigger bill. And no, it wasn't a local tax, it was way more. Tried to order it again, and the same problem. Good thing I double checked everything, and noticed that it was way more expensive than it was suppose to be. Cancelled the order as I am not paying 1/3 more than the website prices... will try again some other day, hopefully they have fixed the bug.

Visited with Marduk in 2025 January. I usually don't rate places I can't find, but this is an exception as the information may be useful for someone as other ratings are quite old.
As Marduk said we looked for the place, but couldn't locate it. If it's there, it needs better signs and info. The problem was also that once you're in the gates you're only allowed to move in one direction - so we couldn't even go back to explore if we actually missed it somehow. Notice that none of the places on the other side of square (so outside of the security gates) either a) don't serve any beer b) serve macro swill and are officially located in Rome.
Hence we didn't find any way to get a beer in Vatican.
