1/V/25 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker) @ Klaas’ BBQ with Ama & Charlotte, BB: 25/III/26, canned: 25/III/25 (2025-415) Thanks to Ama for sharing the can!

Clear pale yellow blond beer, small creamy white head, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma pretty fruity, sourish impression, oranges, orange candy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity up front, fruity, lactic acid, some peach, orange flavoured candy again. Aftertaste: fruity, clean acidity, sweet touch, a little zesty, citrus, soft bitterness in the end, nice enough.

30/IV/25 - 33cl bottle @ Eugene and Evelyne’s wedding, Musketeers (Antwerpen), BB: 17/X/27, 4604241017 (2025-414)

Slightly cloudy orange beer, big solid creamy white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: yeasty, some banana, sweet impression, malty, grains. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, sugary, yeasty, banana, lots of coriander, spicy, unpleasant bitterness, a bit sugary. Aftertaste: yeasty, banana, pretty bitter, soapy, banana peel, a bit metallic in the finish. Not bad, not very good either, average Belgian blond/tripel.

27/IV/25 - 33cl bottle @ La Potinière (De Haan, BE), BB: 20/III/26, EV009 04:19:58 (2025-414)

Clear blond yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of wort, a bit fruity, a little metallic, some citrus, garlic and herb butter and not just a little bit, but very clearly present. Really weird, I wasn’t eating anything at the moment, there was nobody eating around us. Also some seaweed in the smell. It just smelled like garlic and herb butter. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet, a bit fruity, some umami, a bit weird, wort. Aftertaste: pretty sugary, a little bitter, soapy, metallic finish. Not bad, but I’m not a big fan.

25/IV/25 - 33cl bottle from Mr. Hop (webshop) @ Peter’s 50th birthday party, Cabane Banane (Gent), BB: BB: 31/VIII/26, L06 509 (2025-413) Thanks to Peter for sharing today’s beers!

Clear orange beer, big solid creamy off-white head, a little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very yeasty, a bit malty, grains, cow fodder, hay, barnyard. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very yeasty, grapefruit, sourish touch, meh. Aftertaste: weird, is that wheat maybe? A little bitter, some citrus notes, malty, rather unpleasant bitterness. A waste of those good hops, if you ask me. :(
