Benzai Profile - Brewver

Bottle at home. Clear golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, straw, plant like bitterness. Hmm not your typical standard blonde beer imo. Not that it's a lot better, certainly not, but it's not one of those yeasty dominant blondes.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Darker amber color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, armagnac, raisins, oak. Flavor is malts, raisins, armagnac, oak, a bit sweet bit also a slight distant bitter hint. Quite nice.

Bottle at home. Opaque black color, medium sized beige head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is malts, barrel aging going on in there clearly, I guess it's rum but it doesn't taste like that imo, light raisins, some bitter notes in the finish. Sticky texture. Quite nice though, I like it.

Can at home. Hazy pale yellow color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, sweet hoppiness, overripe fruit, tropical fruit hops but all in the sweet way so not really my thing. Certainly drinkable though.

Only available at the café in Riel. Bottle. Amber color, white head. Aroma is malts, yeasty, a bit floral and perfumy. Flavor is fairly similar with the addition of a fizzy bitterness. Hmm not very good imo. At least, not my kind of IPA. Sweetish up front, firm (too high perhaps) carbonation and no fresh hoppiness. More like a hoppy amber.

Only available at the café in Riel. Bottle. Murky brown color, average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, soft iron, leaves, light laurel / liquorice, brown malts, earthy. Medium bitterness with a sweetish touch. Medium body and carbonation. Quite useful.
