330ml can from Le Chais, Hazebrouck. Misty milky yellow appearance, thin sparse fizzy bubbles atop. Strange dank lemon vinegar whiff. Flavour profile is a little odd, almost a chemical sulphur element alongside a strong dank side, some grapefruit, dirty herbal notes, strong bitterness. Not sure this was the intended result.

Draught @ Kerelshof, Cassel. Pours a lightly cloudy gold, good white head. Gently yeasty nose. Flavour profile veers towards a peppery bitter saison profile, not unlike Thiriez's Pepper Trip, moderate saison yeast in the background, a little overly bitter for my tastes, but refreshing enough.. long dry bitter close.

440ml can, thanks to Mike for squirrelling this away for me! A gusher unfortunately! Black appearance, thin brown head. Robust rich coffee nose, continuing to taste alongside rich dark malt layers and a little fire on the finish. Quite a nice complex stout. Shame I lost a quarter of it.

A big old 500ml bottle from Sainsbury's I suspect. Clear gold, good white crown. Nicely crisp hop bitterness, teasing citrus.. for an AF version it's very decent.

330ml bottle, part of a Christmas present selection box from the in-laws. Pours a deep unclear red with overly large off-white head. Cherry boiled sweets kasteel rouge type deal here.. fine for that kind of thing, sweet enough, artificially flavoured.. definitely seems like its aiming to get a slice of the massive kasteel rouge market, but not for me

330ml bottle from Noz. What a name! Pours pale gold, good white head. Aroma of lager malt. Strange perfumed hints swirl around on the palate alongside, rich sweet malt, moderate bitterness. Ok
