330ml can from a supermarket in Luxembourg. Pours a generally clear gold with lasting pure white head. A little rough, moderately sweet malt, with a mild metallic bitterness. Generally fine.

440ml can from Noz, Hazebrouck. Pours a generally clear deep gold. Sweet caramelised malt aroma. Pleasant maibock, gently sweet, aged caramel, some toasty moments.. not bad.

330ml can from Noz, Hazebrouck. Hazed gold appearance with a small white head. Good bitterness, some resin.. deeper malt and then we're farming. Unfortunately, the last quarter of the can pours out a huge amount of yeast which remains in suspension. Probably the reason why it ended up in Noz. Shame.

330ml bottle from Noz, Hazebrouck. Pours a misty yellow with an overly large white bubble bath head which take some time to subside. Once it does and the glass eventually fills with beer it reveals a somewhat average belgian blonde, the life easing out as the head calms down. Sweet, high carb, middle of the road.. so so.

75cl bottle from Carrefour as 1128 Brut Bier. Misty yellow pour with a short-lived white head. Gentle floral nose, some nelson sauvin hop notes. Certainly quite dry as befits the Brut tag. Tastes a little empty on the palate though welcome distant, slightly faint, Nelson Sauvin notes waft through. Never understood the appeal of brut beers and this does little to sway me.
