0.33 l bottle from 'Homberg's große Bierwelt', best before May 2026. Almost clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral aroma of passion fruit, pineapple and some lemon peel. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral taste of pineapple, passion, some lemon peel and light grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Pale Ale.

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before October 2025. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly floral aroma of caramel, grains, straw, some honey and light nuts. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly floral taste of caramel, honey, nuts, some grains and light straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice.

0.473 l can from 'Mr. Hop', canned in March 2025. Pitch black with a thin, slightly fluffy, quickly collapsing, light brown head. Intensely sweetish-malty, rather roasty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate and some bourbon. Quite sweet, malty, fairly roasty, gently bitter, minimally fruity taste of praline, coffee, some bourbon, light licorice and traces of dark fruits, followed by a long, gently roasty-bitter, a little boozy finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good stuff, fairly intense and well-balanced at the same time, surely one of the better Speedway variants I've had recently.

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before March 2026. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of caramel, cocoa, coffee and vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty, slightly bitter and a little artificial taste of caramel, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, some burnt bread crust and light gummy bear, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, a little dry finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, would be even better if it wasn't for that subtle artificial taste in the finish.

Sweetish, rather fruity-floral aroma of passion fruit, pineapple and some gooseberry with a touch of green peppers. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity-floral taste of passion fruit, pineapple, gooseberry and light green peppers, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid.
