Old school place, feels sort of like an old timer's local pub. But don't let that put you off. They have 28 taps of very well-chosen beers -- lots of WCIPAs, some mixed ferm stuff, some stouts. Good can/bottle selection -- you can break up 4-packs of most beers. Not a great place small pours, though they do offer schooners (8 oz) and free tastes. Very friendly bartender who just started working there, but rather naive and unknowledgeable. Not a top spot by any means, but might be worth a look if you're in the area.

Beautiful new taproom in south Seattle, a 4-min drive from Chuck's Seward Park location. More modern, sleek feel than the OG Fremont location. Very similar taplist, with the same $15 flight option for 5 main-stays and $20 custom ones. Exceptionally friendly service, dog-friendly, and comfortable interior. Worth a visit if you're down here, but I can't see it being a regular stop for us given that we're usually up in the Ballard/Fremont area doing the brewery cluster up there.

Opened just over a month ago and set up more like a coffee shop than a brewery. If you don't already know, this is the new brewery of former Modern Times head brewer masterminds, so I expected extremely high-quality beer. For now, they have mostly lager and IPAs (hazy and west coast). The lager I tried were decent, the WCIPAs quite solid, though nothing I've tried thus far has been exceptional. I hope this changes. Supposedly they will be doing some very limited run barrel-aging, but nothing is concrete yet.

Unfortunately, they don't offer flights or small pours, just 10 and 16 oz pours, which is irritating. At least staff will do samples.

They have lots of breakfast- and lunch-style options, including many vegetarian and vegan options, so maybe we'll eat there next time. Lots of coffee beverages -- the iced soy latte I tried was excellent.

Exceptionally friendly staff and a very nice environment. A place to keep an eye on.

On tap at Last Drop, pours a lightly hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has a bright tangy hop character, with light citrus, and a touch of pine. Flavour is bright, with lots of melony hops, lots of hop tang, citrus, and crisp biscuity malt. Bright, melony, and clean. Excellent.

On tap at Last Drop, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and dank hops, with a biscuity malt. Flavour has a nice piney hop character, crisp biscuity malt, and a touch of resins. Nice piney, resinous hop expression, finishing lightly dank. Excellent.

Their sandwich board brags that they have the best beer list in Capitol Hill. I don't know about that. On my visit, The Pine Box was clearly better. Yet this a cool spot, that doubles as a bottle shop. Small curated selection of bottles: I found an old Fremont BA vintage I never tried, which was cool. Not a destination spot, especially since Capitol Hill is a pain to park at, but if you're here, definitely worth a look.
