Tiny bottle shop right at Brighton train station. They had a sandwich board out when I arrived, advertising lambic and other craft beers. Selection is limited but well-curated and decently priced, maybe a bit inflated. Worth a look when you arrive or leave Brighton.

473mL can, pours a clear amber golden with a medium white head. Aroma is a bit dull and dusty, but brings out some nice woody piney hops that I thought were Chinook but I suppose are the Columbus, along with gentle tropical fruitiness, and a touch of sweet biscuity malt. Flavour is even more convincing, with plenty of dusty, earthy, piney hops, some woodiness, juicy tropical fruits, and a robust, chewy malt backbone. I haven’t really been convinced by Beva’s other WC (I)IPAs, but they totally nailed this. Maybe that’s Coast Mountain’s influence, who’ve been nailing the WCIPAs lately.
