Biruski Profile

Black with a beige head. Roasted malts (but. It intense), chocolate, licorice, molasses, burnt malts, toffee, a bit of cream. Full bodied. Finish is sweetish but not cloying. A very go and exceptionally filling.

Clear yellow with a white head. Light pine, toasty pale malt, light citrus. Medium to light body. Solid but nothing spectacular.

Black with a thin tan head. Soft and welcoming though full of flavor. Roasted notes, dark bread, light molasses, chocolate, a bit earthy, the pandan shows up in the middle. A hint of vanilla in the background. Medium bodied. Finish is sharp with alcohol, dry dark chocolate, and sweet earthy vibes. I’ve had pandan in cocktails before and wasn’t expecting it to work here but it does rather well. Very nice.

Black with a tall tan head. Interesting mix of very dry dark malts, cocoa, light burnt notes, alongside fruity berries. Medium light body. Finish is very dry and bitter with berries on top. Kinda works. Kinda doesn’t. Interesting.

Hazy yellow golden with a white head. Tropical notes, earthy, a bit of cream, tangy. Medium bodied. Finish is tropical tang. This is missing something. My dislike of hazies aside there is something amiss.

Clear golden with a firm white head. Citrus, pale and sweet malts, pine, a bit of berry. Medium bodied. Finish has dank pine with citrus, a bit of wet dough and a hint of that berry bit. Bitter in the back. Very solid.

Black with a massive, beige head. Dry roasted coffee beans, earthy, light burnt malts, roasted malts, bittersweet cocoa. Medium to full body. Very dry finish with middle bitterness. Coffee forward without being a roast bomb. Dry throughout which is. A nice change of pace from a lot of coffee beers. Very good.
