West Coast of England more like. Still, I enjoy it! Notes of toasted crackers, earth, dry pine, graham cracker, a hint of toasted caramel, mellow bitterness, British yeast. Tame but rather nicely balanced. Malty. Simple. Drinkable.

Lovely stuff, highly drinkable. Pillowy pale malts, biscuits, white bread. Soft lemony hops, a nip of pithy dryness, mild rindy bitterness. I’m a fan.

Rather a dry and ashy CDA. Toothy roast, charred pine, bitter baking cocoa. Scorched earth and ashy dryness to finish. A sniff of dried citrus peel. Not bad.

Lovely pour. Lightly sweet, some crunchy bitter leaves, a little dried leather, faint berry notes, earth, toasted grains. Decent balance. Drinks fine.

Overall, massively drinkable. Considerably dangerous. Soft tropical and dank hop notes. Pillowy texture. Mellow rindy bitterness. Only a suggestion of boozy warmth. A nip of pale bread. Some white pepper, white grape, mango, guava. Delicious.

Great ale. Moderate pissy qualities. Decent toothy bitterness. Some nice tropical juice, mango, tangerine, papaya, some rindy aspect. Mighty drinkable. Well rounded. Excellent.

Solid straight-ahead porter. Mellow dark malt sweetness, ashy roast, tooth, dry cocoa, scorched earth, woody dryness. Great condition. Highly drinkable.

Gorgeous glowing pour. Moderate sweetness, toasted caramel, bready malts, toffee, nips of earthy hop, a hint of vanilla. Really well balanced. One of the most drinkable doppelbocks I can recall.
