Hand-pulled half-pint in the Butler's Bell, Stafford on 1st August 2026. Easy going, basic bitter, pale golden body, white head. Nothing to set it apart from other such brews, bit of a throwback I suppose. Glad I had it though.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Butler's Bell on 1st August 2026. Light golden body almost clear pour, white roof. Pleasant enough without being memorable or different. Slight fruitiness alongside some malt action.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Bird in Hand, Stafford on 1st August 2026. Pale golden pour, bright and clean, on top a snow white crown. Bertie our dog died last week and we say he's jumping over Rainbow Bridge. So when I saw this I had to try it. Its fine.

Hand pulled half pint at the Bird in Hand, Stafford on 1st August 2026. Pale golden pour, clean and clear, white topping. As the name suggests, this is citrusy with a lemon flavour and aroma. Not much more to add really.

Hand pulled half pint at the Bird in Hand, Stafford on 1st August 2026. Black bodied, tanned topping. Peaty, burnt aroma and taste, singed feel to it really, so toasted malts and fairly bitter. I suspect it's been on a bit too long (Martinsh had it a week ago in the same pub).

Hand pulled pint at the Bird In Hand, Stafford on 1st August 2026. Clear golden pour, white crust. Citrus leanings in the nose and taste, decent enough but not really the sort of beer you'd expect Ozzy Osbourne to drink.
