From a fancy waxed bottle in Kufle i Kapsle Nowogrodzka. Black with a ring beige head. Aroma of big peaty scotch upfront with caramel, toffee, roast, dark chocolate. Ok, in its latest incarnation it’s still pretty damn good. I remember when the original BA edition was the #1 of Poland. This may not be, but they’ve kept the quality. Solid beer.

Small place with a terrace on the pavement and one room packed full of seats and a small bar. Really quite busy on a Monday after work. Pretty decent quality local beers on the taps from what I tried. It turns out it’s busy as the money special is big (1/2 liter) tap beers for 15 zloty. That’s a damn good deal!

Fairly hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is lemony citrus forward with floral notes and pineapple. Light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied.
