A full on ESB, right then! Clear amber beer with a good bubbly pale tan head. A snappy fine minerally crisp palate, slightly dry. The malts deliver a crisp biscuity caramel. The Bramling Cross and Galena hops bring crisp cooling pine. Ripe plummy fruits, touch of esters. Whisper of dark berries on the back end. A bright crisp ESB and one I rather enjoyed. Could be a little more, you know, bitter but this is nicely done.

Can. Clear gold beer with a decent pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts bring the right amount of sweetness. The Challenger hops are a delight. Soft pine into juicy bright citrus that is slightly tangerine - mandarin with a whisper of stone fruits and fruits without names. Light finish. Very easy quaffing. UK hops done right! More please!

Can. Clear deep amber brown beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, airy, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fairly dry thin bodied dark malts, some tangy chocolate. Not getting much Chevalier richness. Thin ripe plummy fruits. Light and semi dry finish. Not bad, for me, certainly the basis of a good mild here but, I think needs to be a bit beefier in most departments. Milds don't have to near low alcohol beers.

A light haze on this orange beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, getting on for semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Malts are smooth, trace of natural grain and bring a modest sweetness. The Bramling Cross hops taste more like Fuggles to me, not delivering much berry goodness, more a mellow Fuggles ripe orange. It's not particularly bitter either. It's clean and drinkable but, unfortunately the title of the beer is self descriptive.

Hmmm, so this a smoke beer whilst its sister Raspberry job is a barleywine? Pretty much the same affair as the Raspberry Rauch. Caramel malts a little stronger, soft smoke a little lighter. Soft ripe cherry. A mellower but richer affair.

Clear deep amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, not quite flat but, very very mild carbonation. Soft caramel malts, not too sweet. A pleasant light smoke, rounded soft smoke, no black ashy grit here. Dominant raspberry, a rich rounded ripe raspberry. Soft finish. A pleasant affair despite the flatness.

Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Smooth start to the palate, a little viscous. Late emerging fine minerally carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a fairly rich chocolate vibe, some dark malt cream. Tangy ripe fruits. A little floral spice and ripe fruits, touch of very ripe plum. Smooth finish brings alcohol warmth and spice.Rich and smooth and drinks reasonably well for its hefty abv. I was expecting a little more depth of flavour

Near opaque dark brown, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, a very mild dryness, reasonable fine carbonation on the back end. Soft chocolatey malts, a little dark malt cream. Ripe plummy fruits, a mild tang. The layered and rounded spices in the 1000 are duplicated here. Soft finish. Much better than the 1000 for me, the darker malts suiting the spice.

A light haze on this amber brown beer, small bubbly off white head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light caramel and cream malts. A decent smorgasbord of spices, nicely layered and not dry or gritty. Touch of ripe fruits on the finish. A mellow and pleasant SHV. My 150ml was more than enough.
