Keg at CBJ. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a little dry, good fine minerally crispness. Airy pale malts, a modest creamy sweetness. Crisp cooling pine. Mild but bright orange and mandarin, a little stone fruits. Crisp finish. Tidy.

Keg at CBJ. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy dark tan head. Airy smooth palate, a mild viscosity, good fine minerally carbonation. Airy dark malts, a mild dark malt cream, good chocolate, both milk and dark. Mild roast and some decent fruitiness on the back end. Nicely rounded and drinkable.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Fergus. A light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. A light creamy sweetness. Soft pine. Candyish hop fruits. Mild skunk. Comes together well enough.

Near clear deepish gold beer with a decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth and fairly light pale malts, a light creamy sweetness, touch of natural grain. Ariana! Can't recall ever having an Ariana single hop brew. Soft pine. Blackberry, pear, estery peach, ripe pineapple. Some banana presumably from the Belgo yeast. A little spice and riper fruits on the back end. Nice brew. Ariana comes over as a bit of an English hop here but, cunningly disguised amid the yeast.

Can. A thick gloopy looking paleish topaz beer, some bubbles kinda semi entrapped in the gloop. Palate is airy and viscous, feels pulpy. Reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts, creamy sweet and bolstered by a fair amount of creamy vanilla. Wonderfully natural apple pie filling, slightly tart. The accompanying spices are judged to perfection. Fairly airy but viscous finish. Craft Metropolis called it beer of the year and, I get that. A startlingly accurate portrayal of an apple crumble in beer form. Could I drink loads? Absolutely not and thus, it falls slightly short of top division for me.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, the normal Phantom forward creamy sweetness but not overcooked. A nice trio of hop selection. Cooling pine overlays bright juicy stone fruits and coconut, a little pineapple. Fair nip of hop spice. Touch of tropical fruits. Light smooth finish. Bright juicy hop fruit delight. Very very drinkable.
