Can from Ingles mix a six. Sometimes old, sometimes fresh, sometimes I can't read the born on date, sometimes they're not stamped. Sat in the fridge a few months anyway. Pint glass at home while roasting some corned beef.

Big, cascading head. Slow to recede.
Sweet oj, pineapple, fresh grapefruit, maybe pog-adjacent smell, some confectionary.
OJ & beer mimosa flavor, sweet red grapefruit, moderate herbal astringency middle end, some actual grapefruit pith on the tail, a twinge of sourness & a hint of very faint orange oil. Really juicy but fails during the team-building exercise & now we can't win the dumb gift card. Not everything new needs to be sweet.
Frothy, solid carb, good acidity, just enough bite.

Okay enough.

Dealcoholized, legit fermented beverage!

$3.25 from 604.
Pint glass at home. Pale straw, slightly hazy, just a blink of soda head.
Sweet, earthy, slightly tin-y apple juice.
Thin, tart, middling sharp, added malic, slightly metallic, dusty sugar feels but no sugar added. Extra thin. Very light white wine.

Basic. Glad I got the tick.

Clear 750ml via Press online. Months in the fridge while I figured out what I wanted.

Pint glass on a slow Friday night.
Pale gold, weak fizz, jellied.
Sweet papaya nose. Strawberry vinegar.
Subtle sweet vinegar, strawberry, acidy apple flesh, not obvious Sidra.
Bite-y acid light, twinge of vinegar, approachable tartness, lingering tropical funk. Big energy tropical flavors.
Good stuff. So juicy, big & bold.

Great & very different.

750 via Press Online. A few months in the cellar, a week in the fridge.

Pint glass at home. Subtle, filtered, medium gold pour.
Citrus, ginger brightness, pithy apple nose.
Taste is onion & bold citrus, mealy apple, bright pithy grapefruit, white grape, barely any noticable apple notes, so pithy, medium high astringency, slight zinger on the finish. Tastes almost nothing like the Kingston I recall, west or east coast.
Medium low carb, thin, acidy, medium tartness, very well integrated abv.

Felt like I was drinking a hopped cider. Less nuance more feels. So much fun.

Sleepy bottle from the cellar. Originally acquired through their bottle club.

Pint glass at home. Orange rosé, lightly bubbly, nicely settled cake.
Creamsicle, deep red grape wine, ash, strong earthy funk.
Clay, lightly sweet strawberry-grape wine, bitter dirt, apple core, heavy bittersweet apple peel, floral finish. Juicy. Punchy funk. Much more delicate than expected.
Mid-low carb, hidden acid, low tart, a little heat down the gullet, dries out mid sip.

Different but still good.
