Lovely ruby amber, translucent pour, lingering skim of head.
Cooked grapefruit, sharp & sorta charred malt & extra black tea bags. Solid nose.
Earthy Simcoe, some russet-y malt, sharper tone, big tea bag tannins, white pepper, just a bit of caramel near the end. Crazy strong astringency, making me crave some good empanadas.
Tasty.
210cc pour at Desarmadero for the second time.
Dark coffee pour with red highlights.
Sooty with some sharp barrel notes on the nose. Babysitting it isn't getting me anything else.
Sharp malt, burnt coco, sugary dark booze, malted cinnamon milk, wiskey edge.
Milky, low carb, elevated acidity, super strong.
Good, not great.
Pretty 14k, flimsy head.
Earthy with some faint tropical, papaya & gentle melon. Smells subtle with a hidden funk somewhere.
Fruit forward, white pith bitterness, earthy, with a strong nutty middle. Chewy at first, rapidly turning vapid & thin. Good acid, some tartness riding along the dry finish.
Good, if a bit too empty.

Golden amber, light but lingering froth.
Some "too fresh" funk upfront; cheesy hops.
Lathery first pull. Silky with a sudden bitter tea astringency, grapefruit pith, some caramel in the way back. Nuttiness on the finish.
Strong fizz, some abv push.
This is good.
Orange hazy with a very dense, nitro-ish inch of head that wont die.
Simple yeasties, starchy, watered down orange burps, weak amount of clove, but a lot of black pepper through the tail.
Okay.+

Pours sort of like a dirty cup of coffee. Weak head.
Medium roast coffee, perceivably acidic. Charry malt, with only a spot of scalded milk & cinnamon. Nose is mostly about the coffee.
Medium strong roast, brown sugar, some zing from cinnamon & barely a splash of malted milk. There's an earthy coffee bitterness that lingers on the tail. Bit of a warm abv belly too. Very acidic coffee. Thin body with some weak starchiness from the oatmeal. Not exactly what I want.
Tis okay to good.
Classy amber, on the orange side.
Leafy, sharp, oily, boozy hot, cooked apple spirits.
Upfront taste is caramel & bright acid. Acidy, thin, popsicle stick tannins, lemon iced tea, rose water, long sharp, lots of oak & dried herbage. A touch of heat but there's a wall of sweet n savory that just keeps it all from getting out of control.
Being still just makes it feel so much more potent.
Really like ya but do I love ya?
