Almost clear golden with a foamy head. Citrus, lemon zest, sourdough, metallic notes, grassy hops, sea salt, grain, hay. Hoppy zesty bitterness, malty sweetness, slightly salty. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry zesty metallic hoppy bittersweet finish. A very good Märzen/Festbier, a good start into the Festbier season.

Cloudy amber with a creamy head. Intense lemon zest, dry hops, lemon juice, banana, clove, grapefruit, resin, yeast. Hoppy zesty bitterness, crisp sourness, fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy zesty citrusy bitter sourish finish. An excellent Weißbier! Couldn‘t believe I haven‘t had this one yet.

Hazy yellow with a big fluffy head. Mango, papaya, coconut, pineapple, physalis, passion fruit, herbal hops, resin, candied malt, some skunk. Hoppy zest bitterness, fruity sweetness, some lemony sourness. Medium to full bodied, creamy texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry hoppy zesty fruity bittersweet finish. A very good DDH Hazy IPA, actually not a big fan of this style, but this one is pretty well made, balanced, tasty and free of any nonsense.

Unclear amber with a foamy head. Roasted nuts, rye, dark bread, pumpernickel bread, candy sugar, caramel, stone fruits, buttery, vanilla, basement notices, lemon zest, funk marzipan. Zesty hoppy bitterness, malty fruity buttery finish. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry funky zesty hoppy fruity buttery bittersweet finish. Wow, what a great Festbier, Franconian brewart at its best.

Visited August 2026. We encountered this bottleshop accidentally on our way from Colmar to Riquewihr. It is very similar to a German Getränkemarkt, so there are beers from Baden-Württemberg and Elsass offered as well as local softdrinks, as well as local Elsass wine and French spirits. The main focus is however on French craft beers. I didn‘t have the time to have a deep dive what they offer but I can tell it‘s a huge sortiment of French craft beers I have never heard of. They also sell some Belgian standard beers. Prices are steep, but somewhat acceptable.

Unclear orange with a creamy head. Unripe stone fruit, saaz hops, mango, brioche bread, lemon zest, sourdough, hints of butter and vanilla. Hoppy zesty bitterness, fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty hoppy fruity bittersweet finish. Indeed a very nice Bohemian Pilsner with a crafty twist.
