What a peculiar and interesting place. Apparently, it used to be even more idiosyncratic. It’s an American candy store, vape and cigarette store of sorts, there’s a place to play games like Pokémon, Magic the Gathering plus things on sale for it and so forth. It used to be a video rental, and they kept the layout displaying beers like that now. Part of the beers are also in fridges. There is an impressive selection of rare USA beers but they’re far from cheap. Being in Brugge I suppose and buying from other stores, distributors, the prices are high in general, which stopped me from buying more. Friendly service and located in the outskirts. Very cool and worth a visit.

Right in the touristic center but a way more interesting selection than expected. Found even a new lambiek for me and some interesting breweries like De Meester, ‘t Verzet alongside the more touristic affairs. More impressive than expected. Expensive but everything is in Brugge.

Well, it’s a pretty cool antique store with some locals chilling inside. Very friendly service and my partner found something nice which they wanted. The beer selection is very minimal but they have their own house beer and glassware, the beer itself was okay. Still a cool spot.

Big cellar bar which is all black with a stage covered with bright red hearths. It’s a vibe plus a television playing Mr. Bean on mute. Beer menu is uninteresting and very expensive as all Brugge is. The cocktails are quite bad in a funny, teenage-friendly way. Not necessarily bad but there are definitely way more interesting places in town.

Tourist central, ground zero. Located at the main market square above the Historium thing. The terrace is amazing, overlooking the square, we watched an Instagram husband being forced to pose for one shot for 30+ minutes, pure entertainment. It’s heated and the view is stellar. You also pay for the view, 9 euro for Duvel is insane even for Brugge. No specials, regular Duvel stuff, they boast still being the only place to have Duvel on tap which is not true anymore for a few years. Keep the ticket for the toilet. You know what you’re getting into it, no more, no less.

It’s a tourist trap but in a good way. Located in a back alley whose entrance takes some time figuring out. It also took me some time to notice that there is a second story. It looks like a house from decades ago in the best way possible. The draw is their house beer De Garre Tripel which is served mandatory with cheese and made by notorious alias brewery Van Steenberge so it’s probably just Piraat. Serving style, location etc. makes a difference. They will defend it being a unique beer to the ends of the earth and so will the fans. A tourist also inquired about the mustard - Tierenteyn-Verlent – which is amazing and was told that it’s not available outside of horeca which is something that I hear often but I have purchased it in stores. The remainder of the menu focuses mainly on strong, blond big brand Belgian beers. Prices are high but that is true everywhere in Brugge. Expected to dislike it but the interior is gorgeous and the atmosphere is there for sure.

Located next to the brewery and owned by them. This is Omer country looking at the merch everywhere and the giant signs. Packed on a Saturday evening, gorgeous retro look up in pristine condition, tilling, wood, layout, pictures. Core range on tap, nothing rare but all in great shape and perfect setting and atmosphere.

Rooftop bar, gorgeous with a great view. Some of the best beers in the world, pretty much the full range available including the Bink beers. Mix taps and bottles. Very friendly and welcoming staff in Flemish dialect, French and English. Charcuterie platters available. Love this brewery.
