I love how behind the gate next to the brewery there is also a tank station, some real Belgian shit. Shop with bottles and cans of experimental releases (wasn’t even aware of this). Regular beers, 5 taps including regular and experimental beers (which were neither experimental nor that good). There’s also merch and you can get growlers and drink inside, no real proper seating but there were tables outside and the place was quite popular. Not my favorite brewery but bonus points for having continuously changing giving a bonus to the visit.

Located near where the weekly market takes place, it’s a gorgeous square and beautiful terrace. Lots of history here, only place still serving “applebollen” on “verloren maandag” which they bake themselves, owner working decades, old interior etc. The beers are the common ones however, mainly old people drinking Stella, Bolleke etc. The Westmalle Triple which I got was room temperature which is not good at nearly 30 °C, sucks but still respect the age.

The Dubuisson store, big with everything you can want from Dubuisson. The core range, gift packs, party kegs, good prices too but also vegetable spreads from their own farm, like 8 types of foie gras, cheese (made at Dupont but with their beer), underwear, socks, the vegetable spreads were quite expensive ‘though. Wouldn’t know what to expect more from a Dubuisson store, good stop and the brewpub / taproom is across the street.

Across the road from the shop, this place is gorgeous on the outside, classical chateau look with a pond, there’s even a troll statue. You can drive up and park here, entering it feels almost like entering an amusement park. Inside is quite busy and bit chaotic, served quickly. Selection is similar to another Troll brewpub that I visited, core range and seemingly the same brewpub specials which are not on level with the regular brewery, coctails and food, you can get their strong beers with Picon (potent) and pours from the BA beers. It didn’t have much extra over the other location which I visited. I expected a touch extra, I suppose but it’s good. Downside is the payment system which is combined with another shop point, only one register for the massive place leading to confusion and waiting times.

The brewery is clearly a working brewery and is not accessible as such. The shop is located right next to it, very modern and looks like it was built almost yesterday. The standard range is available with great prices, in small and big bottles, world class beer at great prices. Multiple cheeses for sale too in a fridge and merch which I have never seen before, sport bag, cycling tenues, caps, glassware etc. I wouldn’t know what one could expect more from the Dupont store. Service in Dutch and English available.

The church is gorgeous; the whole area is beautiful. We had the fortune of accidently visiting when a festival of local producers was happening (breweries, liquor, cheese, sausage, local clubs dressed up etc.) There is a microbrewery on side, wonderful terrace outside, they had a special beer available (not good) and a strawberry one which was new to me (not that good either). The extra and the classics are quite good, the order system, cantina style was very quick and well organized, lots of stuff for kids. The setting and everything is well worth the trip. Got a bread to go which wasn’t that great (big bread is really big!) and the 750 ml. Bottles were quite expensive.
