Can thanks to my bro. It pours spiky jet black with a small, deep head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, charred vibes, umami, salty liquorice, treacle, molasses, toothy, chewy, cacao nibs and some fruit cake. The taste is slick, oily, rich, decadent, charred malt, umami, liquorice, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, warming booze, some bitterness, leather, tannin, burnt toast, malt loaf, peppery spice and charred oak with a dark roasted and dry finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. A rich umami stout. Robust and savoury.

Can from BrewDog online. It pours jet black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, toasty, slick, sweet, decadent, big hit of pistachio, almond biscotti, rich milk chocolate, definitely "Dubai chocolate", forrero rocher, vanilla and fruity vibes. The taste is initially smooth, dark roasted malt, bitter - sweet, chocolate, rich and decadent, umami, quite savoury, roasted malt, definite pistachio character, Dubai chocolate, slightly ashy, warming booze and burnt toast with a drying and toasty finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. I was worried this would have been too sweet, but it works pretty well.

500ml bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours darkest brown with a decent beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malts, bitter - sweet, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, dried fruit, prune, date, fruit cake, Eccles cake and toasty brown sugars. The taste is smooth, then dries out, rich roasted malt, toasty, coffee grounds, cavao.nibs, some umami, loads of dried dark fruits, prune, date, blueberry, raisin, Eccles cake, black bun, toasty spice, peppery and charred fruit pie crust with a bitter, dark roasted finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Robust and classy. Flavourful and well crafted stuff.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours cloudy orange with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, bright, passion fruit, peach, papaya, mango, candied peel and orange creamsicle. The taste is smooth upfront, pithy, zesty, orange peel, tangerine, kumquat, mango, papaya, peach, touch green, weedy, dank, and a lick of spice. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Tasty stuff and moreish.

Keg at BrewDog Castlegate. It pours darkest brown to black with a medium fluffy khaki head. The aroma is medicinal, plenty of ginger, ginger root, nutmeg and beer, some umami, peppery, toasty malts, cacao, liquorice and a twist of lemon. The taste is smooth, woody, earthy, bruised banana, banana cake, touch of tannin, nuttiness, fruit cakes warming ginger (but not as much as on aroma), nutmeg, warming alcohol, charred vibes and some nuttiness with a drying, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Novel and kinda works. Is dry enough to be drinkable.
