Can at home from de Caigny. Decent, kind of what I expected from a collab like this, except for the hopburn and strange medicinal bitterness and also how boozy it is

Can at home from de Caigny. Pours almost completely clear, somewhat copperish golden with a white head. On the nose it shows grassy green hops and light resin with an ever so slight hint of caramalts in there. Flavour is low ght malty sweetness and then the same hop profile as in thr aroma, the bitterness is light to medium at best, could’ve done with a bit better in that front. The mouthfeel is pretty decent, feels like water treatment done right. Quite good all in all, what’s there, works, it could use a bit more intensity tho. Promising first encounter with the brewery, looking forward to trying more

Bottle at home from de Caigny. Pours semi clear golden with a forever lasting white head. It's surprisingly safe play in every aspect, some hoppyness, sure, some yeast character, sure, but it doesnt really deliver - and I dont mean as an Omnipollo beer, I mean as a Belgian pale

Bottle at home. Pours jet black with a tan head. Nose is dark chcolate, fruity cacao beans, licorice, light vanilla. Taste is roasted malts, light earthy notes, dark cacao, vague hints of fruits in the finish. Light to medium bodied with soft to average carbonation, drinks well below the abv. Pretty decent all in all

On today's episode of "how come I've never had this before": bottle at home from Jumbo. Pours almost completely clear, darker, copperish golden with a lacing white head. Nose is a bit parfumey, showing notes of phenolics, floral character and herbal touches with a hint of oily grapefruit zest. Taste is similar, herbal, grassy, citric, fairly Belgian obviously it has a macro vibe to it, but not tragic. It's got a light to medium bitterness, the finish is a touch soapy, also peppery phenolic.
