On the left side of the main street that leads from the station to the castle. Perfect for a stop before or after visiting Himeji Castle. 10 taps, 2 were guests. I tried 4 of the house beers and they were all very good. Nice wood interior feels informal and cozy. Possibly some places to sit outside in nice weather. Flight was available, but they chose the beers. Recommended.

A Philly Sour made with locally grown white grapes. Hazy bright gold with a fine head. Nose is grape, lactic acid, citrus. Bright and tart fruit flavor, grape, lemon, grapefruit, light malt. Crisp and clean, not sweet. Good one.

Tap at the brewery. Called a brown ale with strawberries and chestnuts. Not particularly brown, though. Hazy medium gold. nose is chestnuts, bready malt, and bright, tart berries. Sweet and dessert-like though not cloying. The strawberries add a refreshing tartness and freshness to the Mt. Blanc-like sweet chestnuts. A fun and tasty beer.

nitro pour at the brewery. Medium brown with a low head. Malty caramel malt nose, estery yeast, herbal UK hops. Rich but not heavy, malty, well put together. Could use a bit more hop flavor, but good.

Tap at the brewpub. Shiny black. Pretty. Nose is chocolate, toast, caramel, berries, nice fruit. Slightly sweet and fruity, roasty, berries and citrus. Doesn't exactly hit the dry style, but a nice stout.
