Can.

A- Black color, opaque liquid, minimal head.

A- Oak, cocoa, soy.

F- Oak, faint tang, roasty, char, bitter cocoa, whisky, soy.

T- Full body, thick texture, average carbonation, slightly tangy finish.

O- Not as good as the Penelope Toasted barrel version for Pour and so far one of my least favorite single barrel variants but still tasty. Lots of oak but the base stout definitely shows through.

Can.

A- Black color, opaque liquid, no head.

A- Cinnamon, cognac, chocolate covered espresso beans, blackberry.

F- Cinnamon, maple, sweet, bourbon, fudge, cognac, dark berries.

T- Full body, thick texture, average carbonation, rich finish.

O- My 1,000th brewery! Definitely booze forward with loads of cognac on the nose and palate and bourbon more so on the palate. Quite sweet from the maple. The cinnamon is definitely the strongest adjunct and I get no coffee or chocolate which I wish I would get more off. Perhaps not quite as balanced as I'd like and a big rich beer so 8 oz was plenty but definitely tasty. I think 6 months to a year more spent in the cellar and this would be prime as it's just a tad too sweet at the moment.

Bottle.

A- Black color, black liquid, no head.

A- Dark chocolate fudge, mild bourbon, nutty.

F- Hazelnut, dark chocolate, faint rye, bourbon, faint sweetness, brownie batter.

T- Full body, thick texture, average carbonation, balanced finish.

O- This was about 7 years old thanks to Tavour but it still has held up nicely. Like a nutella brownie batter. Very very thick and almost chewy. Not too sweet thankfulyl and easy to drink a bomber on my own. Some barrel influence for sure but not too boozy. Nice rich dark chocolate flavors balanced with the nutty flavor. Not worth the price, but very tasty.

Can.

A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, off white head.

A- Stewed apples, powder sugar, vanilla, vomit.

F- Baked apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, pie crust.

T- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, complex finish.

O- The nose was pretty awful with the aroma of my toddler's vomit. That did let up a little as it warmed but it was a pretty hardcore rotten apple/puke smell. The flavor however was much much more delightful. Started off at first sip a bit one dimensional of mostly cinnamon apple but as it lingered on the palate you got waves of caramel, graham cracker, vanilla, buttery pie crust. Really pretty nice. If the aroma was better this could be very solid.

A- Copper color, hazy liquid, off white head.

A- Mild smoke, straw, malt, grassy.

F- Bitter, malty, floral, grains, faint smoke.

T- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish.

O- Perhaps not as much smoke as I anticipated but a decent enough lager. A fair amount of bitterness throughout.

Can.

A- Black color, black liquid, brown head.

A- Espresso, mocha, slightly sweet, faint vanilla, subtle whisky.

F- Mocha, dark chocolate fudge, light espresso bitterness, faint rye spice, faint sweetness.

T- Full body, slightly thick texture, average carbonation, complex finish.

O- Wow, this was outstanding. Honestly, nothing stands out and that's okay. It's well blended. Sure, I want loads of coffee notes or rye whisky notes, but the way this all worked together made for a beer that didn't remind you of the adjuncts as you drank it. Harmoniously well balanced. Nice.

Bottle.

A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, minimal fizzy head.

A- Caramel, toast, faint port, heathered honey.

F- Dried leaves, caramel, treacle, malty, faint peat, slightest charred bitterness.

T- Medium body, slightly thin texture, average carbonation, slightly oily finish.

O- The 12 was okay, the 16 was great, the 18 was outstanding, and then the 30 fell short. Little peat and pretty one dimensional. 5 years of age. Just didn't get much scotch influence in this one. Does get better as it warms.

Can.

A- Black color, black liquid, brown head.

A- Chocolate, maple, roasty, sweet.

F- Chocolate, maple, sweet, mild roast.

T- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly sweet finish.

O- Not enough porters in a stout filled world. This was tasty. That said a half can would've been good as it was rather sweet and did become slightly messy as it warmed. All in all, a fine beer in small doses.
