One of the oldest pubs in Birmingham, our eclectic mix of themed rooms are famous throughout the city. Take a tour through history as you explore our unique underground interiors – from Greek and Roman mosaics through to suits of armour and medieval archways. Our most famous space, the Egyptian room, is truly unmissable, with its golden tomb paintings. Located beneath one of the city’s oldest streets, dating back to 1398, in the basement floor of the Burlington Arcade, we’ve had many famous neighbours including the Theatre Royal and the Museum of Bazaar. While those neighbours may have come and gone over the years, we’ve remained a constant fixture.
