Founded in 2017, Moby Dick Brewing Co. is located in New Bedford’s Historic District, where the city’s storied whaling past and its beckoning future meet.
Moby Dick Brewing Co. is located at the corner of Union and South Water streets in what was a whaling supply district in the 19th century and and then a tropical fruit wholesaling district in the 20th century. We’re just a block from State Pier, which serves ferries to Martha’s Vineyard and the islands, as well as the more than 300 fishing vessels berthed here that make New Bedford the leading fishing port in the United States.
You’ll love the chic industrial bones and restored interior of the 1927 building that is our home, or you can sit at one of our outdoor tables and soak up the sun and sea breezes while enjoying the freshest seafood anywhere served alongside the distinguished ales and lagers we brew right on the premises.
