For several years the idea of having our own tiny brewery on site had been percolating. With the Covid Lockdown of 2020 the decision was made to go for it. Life is too short to not do things.

Our brewhouse is the first of it's kind in NZ, made in Slovenia by Brewiks. It is a 300-400L two vessel system and is on wheels so we can roll it away when not in use. The fermenters are 500L capacity and are unitanks so we can ferment and condition the beer in the same tank. There are six of them, all differently coloured.

All of this is squeezed into a 40ft HC shipping container. It's tiny, but almost perfectly formed.
