Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and light caramel with a bit of red wine underlying. Flavor has an interesting combination of sweet grains, light cookie and red wine with some toffee in the finish.
