Dot 009. Cab. Sauv. grain rye. One to savour, big and bold. This rye based ale has been aged in ex Irish single grain whiskey / ex naps valley cabernet sauvignon casks for over 12 months. 3 types of rye and lots of time result in layers of complex bold infused flavours. Woody sweetness plays off full dark tart fruits/ raisin / fig / soft marzipan with juicy red grape. A sherry like finish is lifted with a light spiced chocolate full bodied and silky mouthfeel.

Bottle from The Drink Store in Dublin, AirBnB beer on laundry day. Clear deep amber color tan head. Vinous aroma with light tannins and burnt caramel. Taste has candied dark fruit, burnt caramel, vinous tannins, vanilla. Tasty and complex.

330ml bottle. Sweetish, vinous, oaky and woody with some berries, earthiness and tannin notes. Okay.
