At J.W. Sweetman, flight of beers (sampler tray), as J:W. Sweetman Irish Stout. Did not notice the ABV. Black colour, tan head. Moderate roasty aroma. Dry roasty flavour, strong coffee and bittering hops in the finish.

Draught @ JW Sweetman, Dublin, shared with Niilstrong. Nice brown color with a dark red glare coming through when held into the light, medium to full sized light brown colored, thick creamy head that lasts for a long time and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is malts, burnt malts, burnt coffee roast. Taste malts, lightly roasted malts in the background, hops, hop bitter, bitter. Medium body and suitable carbonation. Nice!

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a deep amber glare, small creamy and brown head. Roasted malty. Breadish, bitter. Rather dry bitter to roasted finish.

Draught. Clean black with a medium tan head. Aroma is dry malt. Flavour is very dry stout, a little burnt vanilla, creamy, long dry burnt finish. Lacks some body, a bit disappointing

On tap at JW Sweetman, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Nose brings out oats and quite a dryness. Flavour is quite dry, with oats and dry bready notes. Fairly metallic on the finish like many dry Irish stouts. Nothing interesting.
