Can (1/24/18) pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! Appearance is opaque black with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-plus width light brown fizzy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon over roasted malt and dark fruit with mild plastic (resolves as it warms) and chocolate. Taste is strong bourbon (with a bit of isopropyl alcohol, too), toffee, dark fruit and lesser roasted malt. Mouthfeel is full bodied with thick, slippery texture, fair alcohol warmth, soft carbonation and dry, roasted malt finish with lingering moderate bitterness. Overall, the bourbon is still alive and well almost 3 years in! There's a slightly offputting synthetic/industrial element that detracts from the rest of the aroma and taste. Nice elements otherwise.

Can from the source courtesy of Rudy, thanks! Jet black color brown head. Aroma of vanilla toasted coconut coffee. Rich vanilla and espresso taste. Right amount of barrel

Can from the Brewery Inky black color with a decent sized frothy tan head that slowly recedes. Rich roast chocolate and caramel with bits of dark dried fruit. Faint oaky bourbon with some light coconut and a hint of green apple. Quite a decent sipper.
