Fishermen enjoy a beverage while casting away. Whether fishing or imbibing, there are limits, whether it be a 5 leader or 5 liters. Saisons were brewed back in the day for farm workers with a 5 liter daily limit, a satiating standard that would allow for ample thirst quenching in any condition while still being able to complete the task at hand, both then and now. Our session-style Szechuan Brett was designed to do just that. Whether farming or fishing, a little lighter beer extends the limit, a little pepper spice provides a little more character without over doing. What ever you limit is, enjoy our Szech ’n Brett, have a good catch, we do!

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, bretty and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. 220416

750ml bottle. Very cloudy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small to average, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Unspecific fruity, slightly funky and tart aroma, some peppery yeasty spiciness, hints of nectarine and the like. Taste is quite similar, a bit thin, without real "ignition". Quite disappointing relative to other Logsdon Ales.

Bottle @ Odense Hoarder Society Meeting, 2016. Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Funky and dry. Yeast, brett, minerals, pepper and a scent of metal. Dry and tart. Phenolic smoke. Leather.

Bottlr, 6.5%. Hazy yellow with big white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, brett, caramel, hop, orange and a little lemon. Flavour is malt, fruit, hop, brett, over carbonated, lemon, little sweet, little dry, medium bitter and a little orange.

Tap at Wiz. Bretty nose with, citrus, pepper, apple and yogurt as it warms up a bit. Slightly creamy on the palate with spritzy carbonation. Well-balanced with the dry hopping really lasting throughout the glass I had. Finish is bretty, citrusy with some light spicy bitterness. Super refreshing and enjoyable. The Sampler, Brooklyn bottle: pours hazy yellow orange with a white head. Aroma is brett, light fruitiness, and plenty of spice and pepper. Taste is very delicate. Nice light brett. Plenty of pepper. Light bitterness. Well balanced. Light bodied. Nice.

Bottle. Amber beer with an off-white head. Tart and light spice aroma with light lemon. Tart and Brett flavors with lemon and light spice. Medium bodied. Tartness and lemon lingers with light spice and Brett notes.

cloudy yellow, smooth white head. Aroma is brety, slightly orangy, somewhat yeasty spicy, very very dry, Aroma is like a very very good saison. Flavor is citrussy, slightly sourish, very dry, spicy, the brett works way well in this one, and the complexity is high, while still coming out well blended.

Capped 750 from Bine and Vine. Pours hazy gold with an off white head. Aroma is lightly citrus sour - but maybe an unusual citrus. Med body, nearly. Flavor is pleasantly citrusy sour. Moderately so. Good stuff.
