No head, jet-black beer, still. Bourbon and white distillate. Some resin, pine, cypress, chocolate. Hot chocolated, almost without diary; Bourbon, some nice hops. Nuts, Tonka beans, dessert chocolate with liqueur. Sticky, viscous, syrupy, and almost furious alcoholburn. Almost overdoing it. Almost.

375ml (thx, Chris S.!) @ 🏡 with Ryan and Alex.
Aroma: red apples, boozy, sweet, bold.
Taste: along the same lines, toffee, quite boozy. Looks like doppelbock is the leader here, then barleywine, and then imperial stout.
Overall: decent, but far from the most of BA Third Moon beers.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Dark brown with minimal beige head. Getting some phenols on the nose. Fortunately, it's feint on the taste, mild bourbon barrel, vanilla and toffee malt. It's a bit rough around the edges. Disappointing.
