This American sour ale is brewed with Pilsner malt and organic strawberries sourced from local Vermont farmers. An addition of Lactobacillus provides a tart backdrop for the bright strawberry notes to shine. Light, refreshing, and wonderfully sour: this beer is a treat on a hot Summer day.

Appearance: brassy/golden color with a quickly dissolving foamy head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: strawberry sweet and tart character; light lemon notes; lactic sour aspects
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to tart to sour quality; finishes strawberry sweet to tart
Texture: light to medium bodied, slightly sessionable; light smoothness but nothing distracting; light sour pucker but nothing overbearing
Overall: not a bad strawberry ale I could possibly come back to.
