Creamy, toffee aromas balance the bitterness of Munich malts in our roasted brown lager. Although dark in color, Dunkel is medium in body and finishes dry and clean, resulting in a rich lager that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

A - 2 dinger leather colored head with tight creamy bubbles. Muted dark brown ale with some haze. Very plain but very German looking. S - honey, dry and very bready yeast. Some raisin smells. T - huge bock taste. Bread, dry malts an some smokiness. I'm getting dark fruits and some pepper spice. M - 80% carbonation. Medium bodies. Goes down smith. O - solid and delicious. Too bad it's not bottled.

Trapp Lodge: Pours a light color for a dunkel... kind of amber... with an off-white head. Aroma is light fruitiness, with some malt content. This is definitely on the lighter side of the style. Mild sweetness is present throughout. Palate is really good and this makes for an easy drinking beer; however, I don’t find anything to be too exciting in this here brew.
