Canned 473ml. -from the brewery taproom/shop. Darker amber coloured, medium sized beige head, caramel and light toffee in the nose. Biscuity, caramel, light toffee, mild orange and piney notes in the finish. Not bad at all.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: ruddy amber to red color with a sly transparency close to the edges and a two finger white foamy head dissipating nicely to leave some messy lace
Aroma: nice caramel/toffee malts, some roasty nuts, toasted nuts, sweet wood and light touch of piney to earthy hops
Flavor: combines the prior mentioned aromas bittersweetly; low key aftertaste of malts and piney hops
Texture: light to medium bodied with a sly sessionability about it, light finish of nuts, malts and piney hops
Overall: I like this as an American red ale and would have again.
