Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: ruddy amber to red color with a sly transparency close to the edges and a two finger white foamy head dissipating nicely to leave some messy lace
Aroma: nice caramel/toffee malts, some roasty nuts, toasted nuts, sweet wood and light touch of piney to earthy hops
Flavor: combines the prior mentioned aromas bittersweetly; low key aftertaste of malts and piney hops
Texture: light to medium bodied with a sly sessionability about it, light finish of nuts, malts and piney hops
Overall: I like this as an American red ale and would have again.
